The Future Will Be Different.

Real Change Now.

The true power of a woman is in the ripple her impact creates. Our focus and our funding are channeled directly toward real change, and we expect the needle to move in the right direction, one woman at a time.

We Fund Grants Focused on Dismantling Barriers for Fox Cities Women

The main thing that’s held a woman back is the system stacked against her. And systems that don’t serve us were meant to be left behind. We tackle issues head-on, without the burden of the way things have always been to make real headway for our daughters, neighbors, and selves.

Since 1995, the Women’s Fund has awarded more than $2.6 million in grants to innovative projects and programs that improve the circumstances for women and girls in the Fox Valley Region.

We are proud to have funded initiatives across the community, developed by over 120 different Fox Valley agencies. We offer funding opportunities for nonprofit organizations serving women and girls in Outagamie, Calumet, Waupaca, Shawano, and northern Winnebago counties.

Untethered, we soar ever higher.

The Trina Fund

Women rise to meet the moment. The Trina Fund was established in 2009 by Appleton resident Trina Reynolds after her breast cancer diagnosis. Trina wanted to make sure that transportation was not a barrier to treatment – or a second opinion – to other women with breast cancer. We were saddened when Trina lost her courageous battle on October 2, 2011 at the age of 49.

Funding for Women Battling Breast Cancer

A gift to The Trina Fund will help women and girls living in Wisconsin diagnosed with breast cancer obtain the best possible care, including, but not limited to, travel to accredited cancer treatment centers throughout the United States.

Note: The Women’s Fund cannot directly support individuals. If you are a woman with breast cancer, talk to your medical provider or patient navigator. If you are a health care provider or nonprofit organization that provides services to cancer patients, contact Julie Keller at jkeller@womensfundfvr.org or (920) 702-7617 for information about how you can help your patients access assistance.

Checks will be issued directly to the referring organization.
