The Trina Fund

Since 1997, the Women's Fund has awarded more than $850,000 in grants to programs that improve the health, and economic security of women and girls in our community. We are proud to have funded 190 projects developed by 70 different Fox Valley agencies.

Our grant dollars have been distributed to programs supporting the following areas:

Despite granting more than $850,000, the Women’s Fund has been unable to fund 55% of the requests we receive.  See the Grantee Partners page for recent grants awarded, or see a historical list of past Women’s Fund grants.

While the Women’s Fund endowment and annual fundraising supplies the majority of the funds for our grants, we also team with businesses and other nonprofit groups who add gifts to our grantmaking pool. If your organization would be interested in supporting a specific women/girls issue or the Women’s Fund grantmaking, please contact the Women’s Fund at

Thank you to Great Northern Corporation for being a grant collaborator since 2000.

The Women's Fund is revising our grants process for our 2014-2015 fiscal year.  Be sure to check back after September 1, 2014 for current information on grantmaking priorities and application forms and deadlines.
