The Trina Fund
Since 1997, the Women's Fund has awarded more than $389,000 in grants to programs that improve the health, safety and economic security of women and girls in our community. In those 13 years of grantmaking we are proud to have funded 121 projects developed by 56 different Fox Valley agencies.
Our grant dollars have been distributed to programs supporting the following areas:

GRANTS
Despite granting more than $389,000, the Women’s Fund has been unable to fund more than $511,000 in additional requests. (See the Grantee Partners page for recent grants awarded, or click here for a historical list of past Women’s Fund grants.) In 2005, the Women’s Fund Board of Directors successfully made the commitment to grow our endowment to increase the amount available for grantmaking to $50,000 annually.
While the Women’s Fund endowment supplies the majority of the funds for our grants, we also team with businesses and other nonprofit groups who add gifts to our grantmaking pool. If your organization would be interested in supporting a specific women/girls issue or the Women’s Fund general grant cycle, please contact the Women’s Fund at grants@womensfundfvr.org.
We are currently evaluating our grants process for 2011. If you are a nonprofit organization interested in applying for a grant from the Women’s Fund, please check back for the most up-to-date information on our application process. Please see our Grant Guidelines and be aware that the Women's Fund awards grants to nonprofit organizations but not to individuals.
